We Hub Communities CIC
We Hub Communities CIC was born out of listening. Parents, carers, and young people across Bristol and the South West shared their lived realities with different professionals, from school exclusions, the criminal justice system, the absence of culturally responsive support. Risks and fears of gang involvement, exploitation, and serious youth violence. Too many felt ignored by mainstream systems and longed for a community-led space that could truly stand alongside them and challenge stigmas and taboos. It is because of these voices, that We Hub Communities was created as a proudly inclusive organisation, our mission is simple yet powerful: to offer young people and families the guidance, opportunities, and second chances they deserve. We believe every human being carries potential, and with the right support, no one should ever be defined by their mistakes.
Our work is rooted in years of grassroots organising and lived experience. We have supported parents and carers navigating both the education and the criminal justice system, created safe spaces for honest dialogue, and connected young people with trusted mentors and role models who understand their struggles and reflect their aspirations. We also co-founded the Bristol & Parents and Carers & Association (BPACA), a representative body ensuring families have a stronger voice in shaping education, safeguarding, criminal justice, and youth opportunity.
We are proud to walk alongside trailblazers who embody resilience and transformation. We Hub Communities connects those whose journeys began with exclusion, police stations, and prison cells to professionals such as
- The first Somali Criminal & Regulatory Solicitor in the South West,
- Professionals risen to academia and the arts, such as a PhD Candidate in Education & Psychology
- Award-Winning Poet, and Education Consultant
- Teachers
- Nurses
- Entrepeneurs
- Reformed youth leaders
These role models are reshaping the narrative for the next generation. They are living proof that when communities are trusted, supported, and empowered, young people can rise above the labels put on them and build brighter futures.
Our name reflects our purpose: a hub for connection, resilience, and opportunity. Grounded in the values of Racial Justice, Inclusion, Solidarity, and Equality, We Hub is committed to walking alongside families, unlocking potential, and creating safer pathways to success. From school exclusion to brighter futures, we walk alongside young people and families, unlocking potential through guidance, resilience, and opportunity.

What we do
At We Hub Communities, we focus on sensitive three core areas to support families, young people, seniors and new arrivals:

Education & Advocacy
We support parents and carers facing school exclusions, unfair treatment, or barriers to learning. Through advice, workshops, and advocacy, we ensure every child has the chance to succeed and avoid being pushed toward negative pathways.

Mentoring & Positive Pathways
We link young people with mentors and role models who inspire, guide, and open doors to opportunities. With training and community connections, we help them choose positive futures over crime and violence.

Integration & Community Learning
We help refugees and migrants settle into life in Britain, covering culture, daily systems, key laws, and gender rights. By promoting awareness, respect, and positive community roles, we reduce isolation and support crime-free, thriving communities.
